摘要
OPNET是一个功能强大的网络建模和仿真工具,在通信协议的设计、优化和评估中得到广泛的应用。本文以一种新型的实时以太网介质访问控制协议的仿真为例,介绍总线型协议建模方法,详细描述了OPNET的建模仿真过程。系统中,网络模型由节点和信道构成,节点模型描述节点的行为,由互连的模块组成,而模块的功能是由状态转移图来表示。文章介绍了节点模型和信道模型的构造,并且以介质访问控制模块为例详细描述了模块的有限状态机实现。最后通过仿真验证了协议的正确性和有效性。
OPNET is a powerful general-purpose network simulator which is widely used in protocol design, optimization and evaluation. This paper introduces a method for modeling broadcast protocols in OPNET by illustrating a simulation for a new real-time Ethernet MAC protocol. The network model is composed of nodes and links. Node models describe behaviors of nodes which are composed of interlink modules. Module functions are described by finite state machines (FSMs). The paper introduces how to construct node models and link models. The detail FSM implements of the MAC module are presented. The simulation results demonstrate that the protocol is correct and effective.
