摘要
利用全国30个省份建筑业面板数据分析最低工资的就业效应,并用中介效应模型分析其作用机制。从全国来看,最低工资对建筑业就业具有正效应。进一步研究,这种正效应部分是通过人力资本水平提升和技术进步引起的劳动生产率提高实现的。最低工资对就业的影响存在阈值,在该阈值之前,提高最低工资会减少就业;超过该阈值,提高最低工资会增加就业。目前提高最低工资不仅有利于就业,而且对企业生产方式的改进和劳动生产率都有促进作用。
Based on the analysis of the construction industry panel data in 30 provinces of China,this article mainly discusses the effects of minimum wage on employment,and its functional mechanism by using mediation effect model.Nationally,the minimum wage has positive effect on the employment of the construction industry.By further study,we find that it is partly realized by the progress of human capital improvement and labor productivity increased by technological progress.There is a threshold existing in the effect of minimum wage on employment.Raising the minimum wage will reduce employment within it,while if we exceed this threshold,raising the minimum wage will increase employment.Now,raising the minimum wage is not only beneficial to the employment,but also to the improvement of production mode and the promoting of labor productivity.
