摘要
为员工缴纳社会保险对企业而言是一种资金投入,该投入是否有效是影响企业社保投入决策的重要因素。本文以员工报酬对工作满意度的影响为视角,对企业社保投入的有效性进行了实证分析。研究结果发现,企业是否为员工提供各类社保,与员工的工作满意度显著正相关。不仅如此,企业为员工提供的社保种类越多,员工的工作满意度就越高。这些研究结果说明,企业为员工缴纳社保不仅仅是社会责任的体现,还会正面影响员工的工作态度和行为,因而逃避为员工缴纳社保不是理性决策。
National insurance contribution is costly for organizations. Whether the organizations are willing to pay national insurance contribution for their employees depends on the benefits the organizations can make from their labor cost. This paper investigates the relationship between the national insurance the organizations pay for their employees and job satisfaction of the employees, based on the perspective of the relationship between pay and job satisfaction. The results show that whether the organizations pay national insurance for their employees is positively related with the job satisfaction of the employees. Furthermore, the more categories of the insurance the organizations provide for their employees, the higher the job satisfaction the employees have. The results suggest that the avoidance of paying insurance for employees should not be a rational decision for the organizations as the expenditure can not only reflect the social responsibility of the organizations, but positively affect the attitude and behavior of employees.
