宏块级立体视频传输失真快速估算方法研究

摘要 鉴于传输丢包会严重影响视频重建质量,甚至大范围传播错误,因此通过研究视频通信质量与传输丢包之间的关系,提出了一种适合网络丢包特性的立体视频传输失真模型.该失真模型结合了快速宏块级失真估计方法及帧间宏块拷贝和视点间宏块拷贝的错误隐藏方法,可在丢包信道下快速估计宏块级的立体视频传输失真.实验对比分析表明:所提出的宏块级立体视频传输失真模型准确度较好,可为立体视频传输失真估计提供一定的理论依据与借鉴,对立体视频通信质量的保障具有一定的实用价值. Packet losses during transmission severely affect reconstruction quality of video, even worse when it propagates errors at a large scale. Aiming at evaluating the quality of stereo video, in this paper a transmission distortion model is presented through studying the correlation between video quality and packet loss. The model combines a fast MB-level distortion estimation approach with error concealment strategy of both inter-frame and inter-view MB copy. It can fast estimate the MB-level distortion for stereo video over the channel with packet losses. Experimental results suggest the accuracy of the model, which is expected to shed some technical insights for transmission distortion modeling of stereo video.
