On Dislocation and Construction:Identity Construction Model of Kingston's The Woman Warrior

美国华裔女作家汤亭亭的代表作《女勇士》展现了为传统男权所压迫的中国传统女性、为美国霸权文化所压迫的二代华裔移民女性和作者理想的美国华裔女性三类人物的命运,在男性话语和欧美话语双重压迫下以"错位的自我"进行妥协与让步,最终自我建构了理想的美国华裔女性的女勇士形象。

Maxine Hong Kingston＇s The Woman Warrior depicted the women images of Chinese traditional women,the Chinese-American women and her ideal women in three different contexts,which gives men and Westerners the privilege.Under the double oppressions,women are dyed with the tint of＂dislocation of the self＂,which is served as compromise and submission at the same time.However,it is also the strategy which helps to construct the true self of Chinese-American women.
