高校统战部门应当重视党外知识分子工作,积极探索党外知识分子统战工作的新方法、新途径,在畅通民主渠道和健全机制方面搭建平台,形成崭新的统一战线阵营,创新党外知识分子统战工作思路,开创党外知识分子统战工作新局面。

United front work departments at all levels should attach great importance to the work of non-Party intellectuals. They should also actively explore new methods, build a new platform in aspects of opening channels for democracy and improving mecha- nism, innovate work concepts, so as to create a new situation for the united front work of non-Party intellectuals.
