粤籍华侨华人对文物保护述评

Studies of Cultural Relics Preservation by Guangdong Overseas Chinese

粤籍华侨华人对文物保护发挥过重要作用,但其相关事迹和作用类型,迄今未见系统的整理和研究。通过对粤籍华侨华人文物保护事迹的调研、例述,揭示出粤籍华侨华人保护文物的五种主要类型:(一)抢救流失海外中华文物;(二)保护遗存海外中华文物;(三)保护华侨文物;(四)资助修葺文物建筑;(五)资助博物馆建设。关注、研究粤籍华侨华人保护文物的义举,积极开展海外文化交流,对凝聚侨务资源,宣传中华文化,提升中国文化软实力等事业,都具有重要的现实意义。

Guangdong overseas Chinese have played an important part in cultural relics preservation, but there haven＇t been any studies of their deeds or achievement yet. This paper defines five types of cultural relics preservation by Guangdong overseas Chinese through investigating and searching examples of their stories. The studies of cultural relics preservation by Guangdong overseas Chinese and overseas cultural exchange will have practical significance in integrating overseas Chinese resources,promoting Chinese culture and enhancing the cultural soft power of China.
