略论南北朝时期慈善组织的发轫

On the Initiation of Charity Organizations in Northern and Southern Dynasties

南北朝上承先秦两汉、下启隋唐,是我国古代慈善事业的初兴时期。该时期的慈善思想不仅有儒家的仁义学说、道教的周穷救急思想,还有佛教的因果报应学说和慈悲精神。在这些思想的影响下,南北朝时期产生了我国古代最早的一批慈善机构。

Immediately following Qin and Han Dynasties and introducing Sui and Tang Dynasties,Northern and Southern Dynasties marks the beginning of Chinese ancient charity. In this period,there were Confucian doctrine of righteousness,Taoist theory of helping the needy and the poor,and Buddhist doctrine of karma and mercy. Under the influence of these thoughts,northern and southern dynasties saw the first batch of charity of ancient China.
