商末酗酒与周初禁酒浅议

On Excessive Drinking in the Late Shang and Prohibition against Drinking in the Early Zhou

本文根据文献资料,并与考古资料结合,分析了酗酒是商朝亡国的原因之一。在此基础上从社会风气、粮食生产、身体健康的需要等三方面论述了西周初期周公颁布禁酒令的原因,这对当时稳定西周的统治是十分必要的。

Based on literary records with archaeological data taken into account, the present paper comes to the conclusion that excessive drinking was one of the causes of the Shang Dynasty＇ s fall. Further, by analyzing the then urgent needs in social mode, grain production and people＇ s health for the establishment of the Zhou Dynasty＇ s stable dominance, the author expounds the motives of Duke Zhou＇ s issuing the prohibition against drinking in the early Western Zhou.
