摘要
为了解地方本科院校增设学术英语的可行性,通过问卷调查、访谈和听课等方式对两校的师生进行了调研,得出结论:增设学术英语课程符合地方本科院校大学英语教学改革和发展的需求,既可缓冲专业英语的难度,也可做到四年英语学习不断线,还可以为基础英语教师开拓新的教学和研究领域。对地方本科院校的学术英语教材建设进行了探索。
It is time that the content of college English should be transferred from EGP to ESP. Local college English teaching should include EGP,EGAP and ESAP. EGAP serves as a bridge between EAP and ESAP. The results of the questionnaires indicate that adding EGAP Courses meets the needs of the reform and development of local college English teaching. Adding EGAP courses as a transition,can buffer the difficulty of ESAP courses,keep four- year English learning continuous,and open a new field of teaching and research for English teachers. At last,the paper discusses teaching materials of EGAP.
