On Strategies of ESP Curriculum Arrangement Based on the Theory of Connotation Development

专门用途英语(ESP)是我国应用型高校英语课程与教学改革的方向。内涵式发展的特质是质量和效益的提高。课程的内涵式发展是注重课程的质量和效益的内生性课程发展范式。应用型高校ESP课程设置可从课程理念、课程文化、课程结构和课程绩效等方面进行改革。

ESP is the tendency of curriculum and instruction reform of applied higher education in China. The en- hancement of quality and efficiency is the distinctive trait of Connotation Development. Connotation Development of Curriculum is an endogenous developmental scheme which emphasis the quality and efficiency of curriculum. This paper proposes several arrangement strategies of curriculum of applied higher schools in China in perspectives of curriculum ideal, curriculum culture, and curriculum structure and curriculum performance evaluation.
