China successfully launched GF-2(High-resolution Satellite 2)at11:15 Beijing Time on August19,2014 by a LM-4B carrier rocket from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center.A small Polish satellite BRITE-PL Hevelius was successfully piggybacked.This was the first Polish-Chinese space cooperation.The first attempt to communicate with the satellite was made by the Polish team when Hevelius flew over Poland for the first time.The contact with the satellite was established successfully.Tomasz Zawistowski,the leader of the Polish Hevelius program expressed that the suc-
