ALM-2D launch vehicle lifted off from the JSLC at 15:12 Beijing Time on November 20,launching the remote sensing satellite 24(Yaogan 24)into its preset orbit successfully.The Yaogan 24 satellite was developed by China Spacesat Co.,Ltd with the main purpose of carrying out scientific experiments,land resources survey,estimation of crop yield and disaster prevention and relief.
At 11：22 Beijing Time on December 27, a LM-4B launch vehicle took off from the TSLC and placed the remote sensing satellite 26 （Yaogan 26） into its preset orbit successfully. Developed by CASC, the Yaogan 26 satellite will be used in areas including scientific experi- ments, land resources survey, estimation of crop yield and disaster prevention and relief.
