大学英语分层教学的优势与问题分析

The advantages and disadvantages of College English Graded Teaching

由于高校扩招,生源日趋复杂,学生的英语水平参差不齐。假若大学英语课堂仍采用以专业分班的传统组织形式,教学效果会受到很大影响。分层教学是解决这一问题的有效形式。通过探讨分层教学的特点、优势、存在的问题,并提出一些建议,希望对采取分层教学院校提供参考。

Due to the admission expansion of colleges and universities,the source of students is becoming more and more complex,which results in great differences in their English language proficiency level. If the classroom organization is based on traditional forms of major placement,the teaching effect will be dramatically impaired. Graded teaching is an effective solution to this problem. Through the discussion on its characteristics,advantages and possible disadvantages as well as some suggestions,it is hoped to shed some lights on the colleges which may adapt this method in organizing the English language teaching.
