In this thesis, the pathogenic reasons and types of deafness are briefly discussed according to the aspects of hereditary gene. And the present situation and prospect of research on the Nonsyndromic Hearing Impairment (NSHI) are especially introduced. It supplies the standards for the consultation of engenics and the clinical use.
