The factor affecting thermal oxidation stability of lubricant oil was researched,including components,temperature,metal and oxygen.National test method standards of the oxidation stability of lubricant oil were discussed and divided into rotary oxygen bomb,oxidation tube,instrument simulation and instrument analysis.
