通过阐述美国联合太平洋铁路公司物流业务的细分状况,从铁路运输、转运服务、仓储、多式联运、接取送达等方面分析各项物流业务的基本运作特征,从大宗直达物流网络、混编物流网络和高附加值物流网络3个方面剖析其物流网络布局特征,提出我国铁路发展现代物流细分产品定位、配套物流服务、大力发展集装化运输等启示。

Through expounding the subdivision status of logistic operation in Union Pacific Company, this paper analyzes the basic operation characteristics of each logistic operation from aspects of railway transportation, transfer service, warehousing, inter-model transportation and receiving-delivery, and then, from 3 aspects of mass through logistic network, mixed-formation logistic network and high value-added logistic network, the paper analyzes the layout characteristics of the logistic network, and puts forward revelations on Chinese railways developing subdivision products position of modern logistics, supporting logistic service and greatly developing container transportation.
