戏剧翻译应该侧重于其文学性还是可表演性一直是翻译界争论不休的问题。德国功能翻译派主张翻译策略和方法由译文的预期目的或功能决定,这给戏剧翻译开辟了一个新的视角。该论文将从目的论角度对Long Day’s Journey into Night的两个译本进行比较分析,旨在探讨不同翻译目的对戏剧翻译及其翻译策略和方法的影响。
It has been a controversial issue that whether drama translation should maintain its literariness or performability.German functionalist school to translation theory claims that the purpose and function of translation decide translation strategies and methods,which provides a new perspective for drama translation. By making a comparison of two versions of Long Day＇s Journey into Night from the perspective of skopos,this paper aims to reveal the influence of different skopos on translation techniques employed by different versions.
