摘要
英语教学材料是医学院校高职学生系统学习英语的主要媒介,教学材料的内容和形式在很大程度上影响学生英语学习的动机和效果。对首都医科大学高职护理专业学生的英语学习动机进行了问卷调查,根据调查的结果和相关的文献资料以及自身的教学经验,具体探讨了英语教学材料如何在内容方面、形式方面、练习题方面、难度等方面进行符合学生认知需要、专业需要和实用需要的设计,从而有效地激发其英语学习的兴趣和动机,培养其正确的英语学习态度和自觉而持久的英语学习习惯与能力。
English teaching material is the main medium by which vocational students in medical university access and learn English, and there is no doubt that its content and form will largely determine either their motivation in English learning or the effect of English learning. This paper surveys the vocational students in Capital Medical University by questionnaire on their motivation and needs in English learning and elaborates on how to design effective and practical English teaching materials in accordance with students' cognitive level and work needs in terms of content, form, exercise and difficulty to either arouse students' English learning motivation, help them build positive attitude to English learning or push them to have lasting English learning automatically.
