The solution to the problem of urban village depends on the development trend of new urbanization and integration of urban and rural area,from which generates the development direction of the landscape of public space.Through the analysis of the new urbanization＇s requirements for integration of urban and rural landscape and the discussion of planning and design principles and strategies of a typical rural-urban continuum- urban village,the article provides theoretical guidance for the landscape planning and design of urban village in Guilin Lingjian stream area.
