摘要
从认知视角研究僵化现象是中介语僵化研究的新趋势。本研究以认知语言学中的隐喻能力理论为基础,对英语学习者笔语中的隐喻产出进行研究。通过错误分析,阐释了隐喻产出中产生僵化的内因(其它隐喻概念的干扰及映射过程中的错误)与外因(缺少足够的输入与正确的反馈),并提出了克服隐喻产出僵化现象,充分发展外语学习者隐喻能力的策略与建议。
A new trend in the study of fossilization is exploring the phenomenon from the cognitive perspective. This studyexplores the fossilization in metaphoric production in English learners' written language based on the theory of metaphoriccompetence, and elaborates on the internal causes and external causes of the fossilization through error analysis. The internalcauses lie in the interference of other conceptual metaphors, and problems in cross-domain mapping. The external causes lie inthe insufficient input and lack of correct feedback in the context of learning. Furthermore, this study proposes some suggestions todefossilize the metaphoric production, and develop the English learners' metaphoric competence and English proficiencyadequately.
