摘要
作为思维的本质属性和认知工具,隐喻的重要性不言而喻。培养隐喻思维能力对外语教学意义重大。本文在分析了构成隐喻思维能力的三要素及其关系的基础上,以问卷的形式对非英语专业大学生的隐喻思维能力进行了调查,之后采用了渗透隐喻理论与强化隐喻意识、注重系统地隐喻训练以及跨文化对比认知三个较为具体的应用策略对大学生隐喻思维能力的培养进行了实践探索。研究发现学生的隐喻思维能力有了较为明显的改善并对其英语学习产生了积极的影响。然而,隐喻思维能力的培养是一个长期而复杂的过程,故需更多后续的研究来补充和完善。
As the essential attribute of thinking and cognitive tool, the importance of metaphor is self-evident. Thecultivation of metaphorical thinking competence is of great significance to foreign language teaching. Based on the analysis of the3 elements of metaphorical thinking competence and their relations, a questionnaire is firstly conducted to investigate themetaphorical thinking competence on non-English Majors. And then this article probes into the main practical method of thecultivation of metaphorical thinking competence conducted by an experiment: the infusion of metaphor theories and thereinforcement of metaphor awareness; the systemic training of metaphorical thinking from three levels in vocabulary, reading andwriting; the contrast cognition of cross-culture difference. The findings of the research indicate that there is obvious improvementin students' metaphorical thinking competence and a positive effect on their English learning. However, the cultivation ofmetaphorical thinking competence is a long and complex process which needs to be supported by further studies for itssupplement and perfection.
