建设特色数据库是高校图书馆在泛在知识环境中巩固信息地位、为读者提供主动知识服务的一种有效手段。文章结合宁夏大学图书馆回族历史文化特色数据库实例,介绍了回族历史文化特色数据库建设和开发的流程和经验,阐述了应用方正DESI系统平台构建回族历史文化数据库的技术手段。

In the ubiquitous knowledge environment, the coustruetion of featured database in university library is an effective means to consolidate the position of information and to actively provide knowledge service for readers. Based on the construction of the featured database of the history and culture of Hui Minority in Ningxia University, this article makes an introduction to the process and experience of the database construction, expounds the technological method in the application of the Founder DESI System with the hope of providing services for discipline construction, teaching and scientific research work.
