利玛窦仙花寺建筑考

Resea Research on the Building of Xianhua Temple of Matteo Ricci in Zhaoqingrch

利玛窦等来华传教士于1585年在肇庆建成中国内地第一座天主教堂,此即为肇庆仙花寺。以往观点认为"仙花寺遗址位于崇禧塔东面"。本文通过实地调研,结合古籍古地图考证,推定崇禧塔西侧某砖砌体建筑年代及其欧式古典建筑特征因子,从而确证仙花寺位于崇禧塔西面,现存于崇禧塔西边三十米处的二层欧式古建筑就是仙花寺。

The Xianhua Temple in Zhaoqing City which was built by Matteo Ricci in Chinese mainland in 1583, completed in 1585 was the ftrst church （house） --, and also the first European architecture in mainland. In recent years, researchers held that Xianhua Temple is located to the east of the Chongxi Tower＂. This paper, by using the research buildings in the field of real research, combined with the ancient map research, building age, confn＇rned Chongxi Tassi side a brick masonry and the European classical architectural characteristics, puts forward a new view that the two-storey building thirty meters west to the Chongxi Tower is the ancient Xianhua Temole.
