With general layout and transportation design for PONGO Iron Ore Mining and Bencficialion Project as example, characteristics and problems worth noting of general layout and transportation design for overseas project are discussed in terms of site selection, codes and standards adopted, general ＆ vertical arrangement, transportation and organization and other aspects.
