Breeding and Application of Indica Dual-purpose Genic Male Sterile Line Xu 98S with Good Quality

利用综合农艺性状优良的水稻两用核不育系中间材料旭06-16与培矮64S杂交,采用湖南益阳长日低温与海南三亚短日低温压力选择,经5年10代的定向培育,于2010年育成稻米品质优、株型理想、不育起点温度较低的两用核不育系旭98S。该不育系具有广亲和性,配合力好,于2013年通过海南省农业厅审定。

Xu 98 S is an indica dual-purpose genic male sterile line with good quality,ideal plant type,broad compatibility,low fertility critical temperature and excellent combining ability,developed from Pei＇ai 64S/Xu 06-16 by low temperature stress under long daylight low temperature condition in Hunan province and short daylight low temperature condition in Hainan province after 5 years selection（10 generations）.Xu 06-16 is a middle material of indica dual-purpose genic male sterile line with excellent agronomic traits.Xu 98 S was identified by the Agricultural Department of Hainan Province in 2013.
