A steel structural construction scheme was presented in this paper,for the expansion project of Fuzhou Strait International Conference Exhibition Western Center. The difficulties and key points of this project are introduced firstly. Then,the characteristics of space trusses,the segment design consideration and hoisting calculation and combination type of temporary support are all concerned. Finally,the main construction procedures of the project are demonstrated. The project can be a reference for other similar ones.
