Optimization of the Water Treatment Process for Continuous Casting Mold

针对结晶器软水系统的具体情况,分析了系统稳定运行的影响因素,有针对性地提出了系统优化方案。方案经实施后,提高了水质以及结晶器铜管的过钢量,而且降低了铸坯的低倍角裂,提高了铸坯质量。

Based on the specific conditions of circulation cooling soft water system for continuous casting mold, factors influencing stable operation were analyzed and system optimization solution was put forward. After application, the water quality was improved, total amount of steel cooled by one copper pipe of mold was increased, macro corner cracks were reduced and casting slab quality was improved.
