Taking Yangquan Dongcheng city concept planning design as an example,the paper introduces the necessity of Dongcheng construc-tion,respectively analyzes its geological location,district relationship,natural features and status evaluation,puts forward central target,plan-ning design concept and technical route,and finally describes functions distribution,road traffic system planning,green system planning and city space planning design,which has accumulated experience for similar engineering planning design.
