摘要
人类不同的自然语言之间之所以具有普遍的语法结构特征,是因为人类的认知发展具有共同的客观基础和逻辑特性。这种共同的基础和特性内在地决定了语言的意义结构,而语法的核心规则正是这种意义结构的体现形式。由此,被生成语言学视为"天赋"的普遍语法或许是一个并不十分必要的假设,如果把儿童语言习得放在意义认知和表达的互动环境中考察,就会发现从语义认知的角度能够得出更为客观实在、合理的解释。
The paper,basing itself on the general process of semantic cognition,expounds the nature of child language acquisition,maintaining that the universal structure of human language results from the universal human cognitive development featuring common objective basis and logic which determine the semantic structure of language. Core rules of grammar depict the semantic structure of language. Hence,the universal grammar regarded as "innate"by generative linguists is maybe an unnecessary hypothesis. If child language acquisition is examined in the context of semantic cognition and expression,a more objective and sensible explanation can be made from the perspective of semantic cognition.
