Critical discourse analysis of reported speech in English news discourse from the perspective of intertextuality

互文性是语篇的一个重要特征,任何语篇都是对其它语篇的吸收和转化。新闻语篇中的转述话语体现了语篇的互文性,转述话语常被新闻报道者用来表达自己的意识形态。批评话语分析的主要研究对象是新闻等非文学文本。对新闻语篇中的转述话语进行批评性话语分析,可以帮助读者了解新闻报道背后隐含的新闻报道者的真实意图。

Intertextuality is an important feature of discourse. Any discourse is the result of absorption and transformation of the other discourses. Reported speech of a news discourse embodies the intertextuality of the discourse and it is often used to deliver the ideology of the news reporter. The Critical Discourse Analysis is targeted to non-literary discourses. The critical analysis of the reported speech is helpful to reveal the hidden intention of the news reporter behind the news discourse.
