发达地区技术进步与欠发达地区经济增长的关联性——以珠三角与粤西地区为例

The Relevance of Technological Progress in Developed Areas and Economic Growth in Underdeveloped Regions:A Case Study of the Pearl River Delta and Western Guangdong Province

技术进步对经济增长的影响毋庸置疑。在相邻的经济区域之间,经济发达地区的技术进步对经济欠发达地区的经济增长具有积极的推动作用,并且发达地区与欠发达地区的技术差异越大,这种推动作用也越大。作为经济欠发达地区的广东省粤西地区的经济增长与作为经济发达地区的珠三角的技术进步有着密切的关联性,粤西地区应当充分利用这种关联性,实现其经济增长,不断缩短与发达地区之间的差距,最终改变其经济落后面貌。

It goes without saying that technological progress will exert influence on economic growth. Technological progress in economically developed areas is usually a driving force for the economic growth of the adjacent economically underdeveloped areas, and the wider the technological gap the stronger the driving force. Western Guangdong Province, an economically underdeveloped area, should take advantage of such relevance to promote its own economic growth by the technological progress in the Pearl River Delta, bridge the gap in economy and make its entrance into developed areas.
