On the Application of Activity-based Approach in College English Classes

活动教学是大学英语课堂中培养学生交际能力的重要教学方法。为了促进学生运用语言进行有效交际,在课堂教学中主要采用"以学生为中心"的教学模式,教学过程包含丰富多样的活动形式。在课堂活动设计中考虑语言、智力、情感因素,并结合主体性、系统性、创新性等原则,让学生在有效的课堂活动中提高语言交际能力。

Activity -based approach is an important teaching method to cultivate students＇communicative competence in college English classes,which tend to be student -centered and filled with various activities in order to facilitate them to communicate effectively.Considering linguistic,intellectual and emotional factors of students,the activities are designed and integrated with several principles,such as subjectivity,systematicness,and innovativeness to make students enhance their communicative competence in classroom activities.
