北朝石刻文学中的用典和比喻

Allusions and Metaphors in the Literature of Buddhist Stone Carvings in the Northern Dynasties

用典和比喻是北朝石刻文学中广泛使用的修辞手法。这两种手法的综合运用,通过其修辞上的提升效果强化了石刻文学的赞颂功能,造成了句式整齐、节奏和谐的语言表达效果以及典雅、壮丽的审美特征。二者的结合所造成的"喻典",使得其修辞功能更加多样、强烈。在佛教石刻文学中,带有宗教色彩的典故和比喻又呈现出佛教文学在表达过程中的中国化。

Allusions and metaphors are widely used rhetorical devices in literature of Buddhist stone carvings in the Northern Dynasties. Using these two methods synthetically, through the rhetoric enhance, could strengthen the function of praising in the literature of stone carvings. It also causes the expression characteristic of neat sentences, harmonious rhythm and building the aesthetic features of el- egant. The combination of these two rhetorical devices can be named ＂metaphor-allusion＂. It make rhetorical diverse luxuriant and give more effect of expression. In the Buddhist literature, using of religious allusions and metanhors may presents the sinicizing of Buddhist literature in expression.
