哭诗和挽歌诗是唐代悼挽诗体中最为重要的两种类型,数量较多,特点鲜明。哭诗内容充实,表现手法多样。挽歌诗主要以一种历史文化现象存在,受实用性的限制,具有程式化特征。与挽歌诗相比,哭诗具有较高的文学价值和艺术水平。

The poem named cry and elegy are two kinds of poetry used for dead people. There are plenty of them and they have brilliant characteristics. The former is substantial and the poet writes it in so many ways. Elegy is confined by practicability as a cultural phenomenon. On the contrary, the poem named cry has higher value of literature.
