第二个哈佛还是第一个北大——关于中国高等学校特色定位的思考

当前高校在改革发展中普遍存在千校一面、特色不强的问题,这是制约高校发展的一个重要因素,为此,高校应努力做好自身的"特色"建设,开展特色定位。打造"第二个哈佛",还是"第一个北大",事关两种不同的特色定位。只有根据自己的实际情况,在准确分析优劣势的基础上,找准自己的特色,如学科特色、文化特色等,才能在此基础上进行其他定位,才能为自身发展奠定坚实的基础。高校进行特色定位,首先应扎根中国大地办大学,既要彰显中国特色,又要体现个性特色。中国高校的"特色定位"体现了"道路自信、理论自信、制度自信"。
