Demand and Cultivation of Logistic English Talents

物流行业的国际化对物流专业英语有什么新的需求?当前物流专业的学生是如何学习物流英语的?针对这两个问题,文章进行了问卷调查,结果显示物流行业对物流英语的要求较高,尤其是听说写等实际应用能力,而学生虽重视物流英语的学习,但在学习中仍存在不少问题。根据调查结果,文章提出要加强物流英语师资力量,着重培养学生英语应用能力,并加大实训教学的比重。

What are the new requirements for logistic English under the internationalization of logistics？ How do the logistics ma- jors learn English？ In response to these two questions, this paper carried out questionnaires respectively. The results of the survey showed that logistics industry request for higher English ability, especially for the listening, speaking and writing skills. While stu- dents attach great importance to logistic English learning, many difficulties still lay ahead of them. On the basis of survey results, this paper proposed that firstly strengthen the faculty resource of logistic English, then focus on the cultivation of students＇ prac- tical English competence, and increase the proportion of practical training.
