水语的动物名物系统及其主要特征

The System of Zoological Onoma and its Main Features in Shui Language

水语名物是水族人民生产生活、社会交流和认知传承的重要符号系统,是水族文化的重要组成部分。通过对水语动物命名习惯、命名原则的分析发现,水语动物命名的分类主要有家畜家禽类、野生走兽类、野生飞禽类、水生动物类和其他动物类5种;水语动物命名既有音义的任意性,也与动物叫声、形态、颜色、年龄等特征有关,同时命名遵循着一定的构词法则;水语名物与水族文化之间有着极为深刻的关系。

Shui onoma, as an important part of the Shui culture, is a signiticant/y symbolic system re- lated to Shui people＇ s production and life, social communication, and cognitive heritage. Through analyzing the habits and principles of Shui zoological onoma, this paper finds that the classification of Shui zoological onoma can be divided five categories, such as livestock poultries, walking wild beasts, flying wild birds, aquatic animals, and others. The zoological Onoma in Shui Language has the arbi- trary of sound and meaning, related to the sounds, shape, color, and age of animal; also it follows the rules of word - formation that the Shui onoma has the close relationship with Shui culture.
