McREL开发的教师评价模型在美国享有较高声誉,对教师教学实践与专业成长的支持和强化是该模型的要旨。它强调通过持续、有效的评价来改进教师教学中的缺陷、降低教学的不确定性、发现教师专业提升的路径,实现学生学业成绩提高、教学质量提高、教师专业成长和发展、教师管理和学校发展的最终目标。该模型的主要架构包括CUES框架、CUES量规和年度循环评价过程。明确的标准本位、多元的证据驱动、鲜明的专业成长取向是其独特的价值体现。
The teacher evaluation model developed by McREL enjoys a high reputation in the United States, whose essence is to support and strengthen teachers" teaching practice and professional development. To achieve the ultimate goal of improvement of stu- dents" academic performance, improvement of teaching quality, professional growth and development of teachers, management of teachers and development of schools, McREL emphasizes the importance of continuous and effective evaluation in better improving the defects in teaching practices, reducing the uncertainty of teaching and discovering the route of professional improvement. The main structure of the model includes CUES framework, CUES rubrics and the annual cycle of evaluation process. Clear standards-based, multi-evidence driven, vibrant professional growth orientation is reflected as its unique value.
