摘要
对于如何评价作为批评家的托洛茨基,学界存有争议。主流观点一直将其文艺思想定位于"政治学的文艺观"。实际上,托洛茨基基于其深厚的学养,形成了一种辩证唯物主义的艺术观,即一方面坚守现实决定论,一方面强调艺术的独立性,肯定艺术形式探索的重要性,并以其独特的文体表达将这一思想贯穿于他所有的批评实践。这一立场在苏联初期特定的历史语境中具有特殊的意义。
There has been a dispute among scholars on how to evaluate Trotsky as a critic. His artistic view is generally defined as "political science". In fact, Trotsky, based on his deep cultivation, formed a kind of dialectical materialism view of art, namely, stick to realistic determinism on the one hand, and emphasize artistic independence on the other. He affirms the importance of artistic exploration and penetrates his view throughout all his critical practice with a unique style of expression. This position has a special significance in the early stages of the former Soviet Union in a particular historical context.
