摘要
复合型英语专业在中国已经设置有30多年的历史了,虽然取得了一些成绩,但其中的种种问题例如人才需求、就业、学科内涵、师资等仍然存在,以武汉工程大学为例,针对出现的问题从课程设置、教学模式和教学方法等方面提出了一些建议。高校应结合各自的办学特色,集中优势教学资源,培养符合社会需求、高质量、高素质的国际化、创新性复合型人才。
Multi-disciplinary English major has developed in China for more than 30 years and made some achievements but there still exist various problems in such aspects as talent demand, employment, disciplinary connotations,teaching resources,etc. This paper takes Wuhan Institute of Technology as an example and it proposes some suggestions from the aspects of curriculum design, teaching models and teaching methods. Colleges and univerities should take advantage of their special features, collect excellent teaching resources and cultivate high-quality international, innovative multi-disciplinary talents for the society.
