The Trend of Thoughts and the Establishment of the Modern Academia

中国现代学术的建立与20世纪早期思想潮流有着密切的关系。对现代学术的建立产生重要影响的思想潮流有进化论思潮、疑古思潮、科学民主思潮、个人主义思潮等,它们对推翻传统经学研究范式,确立理性、怀疑、独立、创新的学术观念,扩大研究范围,突破研究禁域,养成重实证、重逻辑、多学科综合研究的学术方法,以及自由民主的学术氛围起到重要作用。

The establishment of the modern academia is closely related to the trend of thoughts,including evolutionism, skepticism, scientism and democratism and individualism, in the early 20 century. The trend of philosophies is of great importance in terms of overthrowing the research paradigm of traditional Confucian classics, establishing the academic idea of rea- son, skeptic, independence, and innovation. This also contributed to the expansion of research domain,valuing empirical study and logics,as trans-disciplinary methodology.
