随着评价理论的发展,越来越多的研究者认为积极话语分析和批评话语分析之间存在互补性,即话语评价不仅在于揭露话语中统治者的意识形态,更要以挖掘社会和谐共赢的积极态度为补充。米歇尔·奥巴马在民主党全国大会上的演讲为奥巴马连任赢得了关键一环。她在演讲中充分运用积极的话语资源来塑造平民总统形象,但也力图掩盖奥巴马施政不力,我们透过评价理论的视角可窥一斑。
With the development of Appraisal Theory research, a growing trend suggests that there is a complementarity between the CDA and PDA,which means discourse analysis is not only to reveal the hidden ideology but also to seek the harmony society and the positive atti- tude. We will investigate how the First Lady Michelle Obama portrayed a civilian president and also concealed the poor governance through the perspectives of PDA and CDA.
