Discussion on Geographical Position of Xianbei Mountain

史书记载的五处鲜卑山事实上是三座山,即鲜卑族的发源地,位于大兴安岭南段的"大鲜卑山";慕容鲜卑部落联盟聚居地,位于朝阳附近的鲜卑山,以及吐谷浑部落联盟的聚居地,位于敦煌附近的鲜卑山。这三座山不仅是鲜卑族兴起和发展不同阶段的直接展示,更是鲜卑诸政权兴起和发展的摇篮,对我国古代历史的走向有着重大意义和影响。

There are five Xianbei mountains in the records of the history books. In fact, we can found out that there are only three mountains, including the origin of the nation of Xianbei in the southern of Daxinganling, which was called Big Xianbei Mountain, and the settlement of the tribes of the Murong Xianbei nearby Chaoyang and the Tuyuhun lived in different places were all called Xianbei Mountain. These mountains not only the rise and different stages showing of Xianbei, but also the cradle of Xianbei regime where they are rised and developed. They gave great significance and impact on the trend of Chinese ancient history.
