摘要
聘用研究生教学助理的美国大学一直注重对研究生教学助理进行培训,其培训模式有两种:为每位研究生教学助理提供与日常教学有关的常规培训;为期望从事教学职业的优秀研究生教学助理提供职业发展训练。两种模式相结合,使研究生教学助理不仅为当前的教学责任而且为未来的教师职业做好充分准备。与此同时,聘用研究生教学助理的美国大学通过资金投入、各方合作、多方需求关注和持续评价等为教学助理培训项目提供充分的质量保障。
The American universities usually pay great attention to the training of graduate teaching assistants.The graduate teaching assistant training system consists of two modes: the routine on-the-job training for every graduate teaching assistant and the professional development training for those who expect to join the professoriate. These two modes combine together, which prepares the graduate teaching assistants for the current teaching task and the future faculty role. In the process of implementing graduate teaching assistant training system, American universities ensure the quality of the system through funding, partnership, need assessment and continuing evaluation, which will lead to the virtuous cycle of the system.
