从生育行为看农村妇女的家庭地位——基于江西X村的研究

Observing the Rural Women's Family Status from Their Reproductive Behavior:A Case Study of X Village of Jiangxi

通过对农村妇女生育行为及其家庭地位的个案访谈,发现从农村妇女的生育行为,主要是生育孩子的数量和性别,已经无法准确判断她们的家庭地位。即生育行为与妇女的家庭地位之间的联系正在弱化甚至消失,取而代之的是包括妇女的性别意识、经济独立性、知识水平等多方面因素。因此,提高农村妇女家庭地位的途径也变得多样化,其中,增强农村女性自身素质显得尤为重要。

Based on the interviews with rural women about their reproductive behavior and family status, it is found that it is difficult to determine family status of rural women accurately through their fertility behavior, that is, the number and gender of their children. That is to say, the link between fertility behavior and family status of women is weakening or even disappearing, which is replaced by their gender awareness, economic independence, knowledge, and so on. Therefore, there are diverse ways to improve rural women＇s family status, of which enhancing the quality of rural women themselves is particularly important.
