Rethinking of Contemporary Chinese Paintings

当代中国画的衰落已成为一个不争的事实,其原因是西方绘画的介入,中西融合理论的影响,从而导致了人们对中国画本质的认识模糊。随着老一辈艺术家的过世,当代画家对传统中国画的模糊认识,导致了中国画发展的停滞、衰落乃至倒退。究其原因,一是当代中国画家文化修养的缺失;二是书法的用笔对绘画的影响没有得到体现,造成笔法的不清;三是展览的错误导向使当代画家失去了方向。

It is no doubt that Chinese paintings have become decadent due to the introductions of western paintings and the impact of the Theory of Sino- western Integration,therefore most people have vague concepts of the nature of Chinese paintings. After the death of old artists,contemporary painters＇ vague understandings have led to the stagnation,decadence or regression in the development of Chinese paintings. The reasons are the painters＇ lack of cultural enrichment,unclear strokes in painting caused by calligraphy writing and the painters＇ disorientation misguided by exhibitions.
