从刘熙《释名·释船》看汉代之“广船”

Overview of Han Dynasty 's Guangdong Ship from the Shiming by Liu Xi

《释名》刘熙著,是船史界所熟悉的著作,著于汉。本文作者通过对其中《释船》、"南越王船"、珠海古渔船等的研究、探讨,认为《释船》所参照的是广船。作者还根据明清时期的船舶形制,推断汉代海上丝绸之路航行的"广船"是装载量为三十吨左右,船长7丈余的单桅帆船。

The Shiming written in the Han Dynasty by Liu Xi is familiar to the domestic Ship historians. According to the research and discussion on the boat of Nanyue King, the Zhuhai ancient fishing boat and so on explained in the chapter Explaining Boats of the book, the author believes that these ships are exactly Guangdong ships. On the basis of the ship shape and type in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the author concludes that the Guangdong ship used for Maritime Silk Road in the Han Dynasty is a single-mast sailing of 23metres long and 30 tons of deadweight.
