《女界钟》:金天翮的“女权革命”论

《女界钟》是晚清一部集大成的妇女问题论著,由金天翮于1903年7月完成。该书以倡导"女权革命"为宗旨,依据欧美女权运动的历史与现况,将中国各项女性权力的获得区分为当下与稍后实施两个阶段,最终希望凭借女权的全面实现,完成与男性共建"新政府"的使命。而要完成这一连贯的革命,金天翮认为最重要的是通过新式教育,把女性铸造成为"新国民",女性因此可以其"国民之母"的诞育能力,保证"新中国"的肌体健康。

Nv jie Zhong,which was completed by Jin Tianhe in July 1903,is a comprehensive work on the issue of women in the later Qing Dynasty. With the goal of advocating ＂feminist revolution＂and based on the history and current situation of feminist movement in Europa and America,this book divides the acquiring of the variety of female rights into two stages of current emergency and later implements. It hopes that by comprehensively realizing the feminist rights,the women will finally complete the mission of building a ＂new government＂together with males. In order to fulfil the series of reforms,Jin believes that the most important thing is to cultivate the females a ＂new civics＂through new education,thus to guarantee the organic health of the＂new China＂by the fertility of women as the＂mother of civics＂.
