Jin Shengtan＇s commentary of novels has a strong reader consciousness,with many enlightening comments showing the readers how to read novels. ＂Standing in the shoes of others＂is the only right methodology for understanding things,people,as well as literature. Jin Shengtan＇s superb commentary on the novels with deep empathy has great influence to later novel critics,and he has become the inaugurator of novel readership study.
